High School: Ursuline Academy in Cincinnati, Ohio

Undergraduate: B.S. Business Management and Marketing, Cornell University, 1996 Undergraduate Activities: Rowed Crew and worked at Student Agencies, Inc., a 100-year-old company that teaches hands-on business management.

Post-graduation: After graduating, I worked in business as the Director of Marketing and Accounting for a small scientific instrument manufacturer. During this time, I realized that I wanted to study medicine, a dream of mine for a long time, that had been put aside during my undergraduate years. Accordingly, I returned to Cornell and completed post-baccalaureate premedical courses.

Research Experience: I worked in a Pediatric Infectious Disease Lab at Stanford University Medical Center for the past 2 years before starting medical school. The laboratory I worked in studied the measles virus and looked at infant T-cell responses to measles vaccination.

Medical Goals: I plan to become a pediatrician and am considering combining
some research with clinical practice.

Interests: I enjoy most all outdoor activities, especially hiking, cycling, and running.
